Artikkeli käsittelee oppimisen kokemuksia selkomukautetun kaunokirjallisuuden parissa kotoutumiskoulutuksen lukupiirissä. Aineistona ovat lukupiirien 24 osallistujan haastattelut. Haastattelut on tehty osallistujien toisella kielellä tai lingua franca -englannilla, ja niitä lähestytään fenomenologista ajattelutapaa hyödyntäen kertomuksina oppimisen kokemuksista. Kokemukset vaihtelevat yksilöllisesti, ja tärkeimmiksi merkityskokonaisuuksiksi nousevat sanat, kielen rakenteet ja kielenkäyttö. National audience; La présente communication se propose d'examiner les représentations d'un avenir post-apocalyptique dans le diptyque South (2016) et North (2018) de Frank Owen et de s'interroger sur une possible hybridation des imaginaires post-apocalyptiques. Bien qu'écrits par un duo d'auteurs sud-africains (Frank Owen étant en réalité le pseudonyme adopté par Diane Awerbuck et Alex Latimer pour écrire ces romans à quatre mains), South et North se déroulent tous deux aux Etats-Unis. Dans le monde post-apocalyptique dépeint dans le diptyque, le pays est divisé en deux et des vents mortels soufflent sur le sud, décimant la population, qui a dû retourner à un mode de vie primitif où domine…

Il saggio ripercorre la storia di un celebre fatto di cronaca nera, divenuto scandalo internazionale, il caso Montesi, ne considera la ricezione giornalistica e saggistica in Italia e all'estero, ed esamina alcune delle sue principali elaborazione narrative, al confine tra fiction e non fiction. The essay reconstructs a fait divers which became an international scandal, the Montesi Affair, dealing with its journalistic reception and with its main literary representations, on the edge between fiction and non fiction.

L'articolo propone una nuova interpretazione del rapporto fra brevità testuale e aspetto teleologico delle biografie, compiendo un percorso storico-letterario dalle "Vite parallele" di Plutarco fino alle reinterpretazioni novecentesche del genere biografico. The article proposes a new interpretation of the relationship between textual brevity and the teleological aspect of biographies, following a historical-literary path from Plutarch's "Parallel Lives" to the twentieth-century reinterpretations of the biographical genre.

A well established and renowned poet residing in Canada, Jumoke Verissimo debuted with her first novel, A Small Silence, in 2019. The Preface to the Italian edition elucidates how in Verissimo's fictional account of a dissident intellectual released from prison after the end of Abacha's dictatorship, and in his friendship with a young woman studying at the local University, we find a portrait of today's Nigeria trying to survive its post-independence, post-colonial, post-dictatorship era.
